This block is machine done.
i want to put a yo yo in the middle and a button in the yo yo
needs ironing , ha.
This little dress is all hand made
I wanted to see if I could make it. My dear deceased grandmother was alive when I made it
She could not believe I made it by hand.
she showed me how to make the button holes by hand!

This apron/ I made years ago.
I had put it away and forgotten about it
Found it, It has ruffled eyelet lace at the bottom too
This ripple stitch afghan I made for one of my brothers for Christmas this past year.
It was fun to make. I hadn't made one for years.
It took quite a while to make it.
This is hand crocheted lace I make ; I love making it
My dear deceased grandmother taught me to do this when I was about 8 years old
The green shawl is knitted, the pink roses are hand embroidered in sport yarn.

These next things are some crocheted and some knitted things I made.
(1)
crocheted lace; I usually crochet 2 to 3 yards of lace at a time.
I use them on aprons or whatever.
I attach them with a short zig-zag stitch onto the project I happen to be making at the moment.

My long knitted scarf--I have made 5 of these I think

Some ladies crocheted bed sock booties I made , I made some for Christmas gifts and me a pair
They are really warm

A pink and chocolate shell stitch crocheted afaghans
I made 2 for sister-in-laws for Christmas
I also made a friend one
They are out of Simply soft yarn, It is really soft.

ENOUGH TIME;
There is a time for every thing and a season for every activity under heaven.

Time is so precious ; sometimes people say they never have enough time
Eccelestias 3:1
tells me different
this verse tells me that there is time for every thing
Maybe I don't use my tiime wisely.
But, I know one thing that is most important thing there is
Spending time with Jesus and His word.
This should be the first thing on my list
Prayer:
Help me Jesus to spend quality time with You.and Your word
Studying and praying , and listening to your Holy Spirit
This Jesus is what I turely desire.

Mother-in-law's Lap Quilt

Hey there

This is my Mother-in-law's Christmas present, a lap quilt...

It took me about 2 months to finish the embroidery.

She really seemed to like it; I think it surprised her that I would do that much work for her. She loves flowers. I tried to match the colors of the flowers as close as I could to the real thing. We were happy with the results.

Learning new things has always been hard for me
I have learned 2 new things today and that is pretty good for me.
I am in my 50's and everything I learn that I can understand is
exciting to me
I know you all think that is quite funny.
Oh well, at least I gave ya a laugh, tee hee.

The New Beginning: Pinkroses

Well there will be a new year and a new start.
This is my first blog.
I hope to be sharing Chistan poems, devotionals,
and maybe a short story now and then.
I will probably make some mistakes as I have never
done this before.
I will learn as I go I am sure.
